The Songbird

The world shifts as the chase goes on. Forests sing and streets yawn and the mountains themselves change under your feet as the bird flutters just out of reach.

"The Songbird" is a gmless game inspired by fae horror for two players with a simple betting mechanic. 

To play you'll need a pair of d6, something to make notes with, and about an hour. 

"The Songbird" is a game about having an integral part of your being on a fundamental level stolen by a small bird, who swooped in and away before you had a chance to blink.  As you chase after it to get this missing piece back it gloats and preens, taunting you and changing you. Meanwhile,  the world shudders as unfettered magic seeps into the space around you and makes every step more precarious and strange.

(Or, more clearly, it's a short 2-player game about a weird magic bird and the hapless stranger chasing it to get back something existentially important, while the world breaks down around the both of them.)
